How does Scroov work?
Scan a product's barcode or label with your camera. Scroov identifies the product, then shows a SafeScan score, Nutri-Score, NOVA processing level, flagged additives, allergens, and dietary information so you can understand what's inside at a glance.
Do I need an account?
No. Scroov works without any sign-up. Your scan history is kept on your device, tied to a random identifier — not to your name or email.
A product was missing or its information looked wrong. What should I do?
Scroov draws on many sources and the data can be incomplete or out of date. Always trust the product's actual packaging over the app. If something looks wrong, email us and we'll look into it — your reports help improve the database for everyone.
I have a food allergy. Can I rely on Scroov?
Please don't rely on Scroov for allergy or medical decisions. Ingredient and allergen information may be inaccurate or out of date. Always read the physical product label and consult a qualified professional.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes the scan history and identifier stored on your device. To have scan data on our servers removed, email us at support@scroov.in and we'll help.
